Blogging Resources

Kevin of Kevin Dayhoff - Soundtrack Division of Old Silent Movies has a list of church resource web sites that rock. There are some very help links for bloggers on that list, so go check it out.

A few other helpful resources for bloggers (obviously, these sites can be useful for those who don't blog as well):

1. Tailrank -- want to know what stories everyone is blogging about? Then checkout tailrank and see. Sometimes you can find stories that you missed and it helps if you want to include the opinion of the other bloggers in your post, that information has been provided for you by tailrank (saves you a lot of work). They have the news divided into a general, technology, politics, entertainment and video.

But what I like best about them is that they usually include our posts in their listings :-) (Though occasionally they don't! I just noticed that they don't have us listed for the Zune linux video, bummer).

2. digg -- this is another site where you can find interesting articles that you might have missed and it has the added fun of being able to express your displeasure over someone's comments by giving them a thumbs down which deducts points from their digg number. I usually vote thumbs down for stupid, anti-Christian and liberal comments. You can also vote whether you "digg" the article. They list the top 10 rated articles on the right hand side and they also list the "newly popular."

3. del.icio.us -- this is a great way to tag your articles if you are on Old Blogger like us (we are too big to move, we are probably going to be one of the last blogs to migrate over). Also, it is a great place to keep track of your bookmarks, especially if you have more than one computer or as a backup in case your laptop dies (I'm speaking from experience here). And you can see what everyone else is tagging.
