More news from CES and this one sounds great to me:
Verizon Wireless customers will soon be able to watch live TV over a network constructed by Qualcomm Inc.If they keep the cost down on this, it will be a good service. The problem is that they usually don't. If you are paying for cable already, why pay again? You'd pay for convenience, to be able to watch TV in your car but the question is how much would you be willing to pay for that convenience? To me, the cost for stuff like that is usually prohibitive.
Verizon will launch its new service, dubbed V Cast Mobile TV, sometime in the first quarter, the company said Sunday at the International Consumer Electronics Show. Verizon said it would release details on pricing and availability closer to the launch of the service.

Many of the channels on the V Cast service will be live feeds from major broadcast partners, including NBC, CBS and Fox. Recorded full-length programs will also be offered, such as episodes of late-night talk shows.
