Does Hugh Hewitt want to scare the Fredheads into voting for Romney?

It looks like it to me. Quick we better drop Thompson before he drops dead. Here's a response to this smear tactic. Even though Hewitt is anti-Thompson (at the close of his show last night he said that Romney and Giuliani were the only candidates with a shot at winning), I'm still a fan. I know that when Thompson wins the primary, Hewitt will be supportive and will push Thompson the way he pushes Romney but right now I'm pretty ticked at him for spreading rumors about Thompson's cancer.
