Encouragement for Donna

Donna, "In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world" (John 16:33b). Be thankful that you are able to give a defense; be thankful God has prepared you so that you can be a source of encouragement and help to your friend. Be thankful that you have been reading the Bible and know where to go to prove that Jesus was born of a virgin. This should be a warning to us all to be ready to give a defense for the hope that is within us with gentleness and respect. (1 Peter 3:15-16)

There are many liberals who are Christian, not because they believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He was raised from the dead but that He was a godly man whose example we should follow. They call themselves Christians because they follow His teaching, not because they believe that He is their Savior.
