1 Timothy 2:11 Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.I've been thinking about this verse a lot recently and wasn't surprised that I was asked about it in the comments section on my post on women in the church. I figured eventually someone would ask me what I thought of women teaching men because I plan to publish my Bible studies and because I blog about theology and Bible study.
I do have a conservative view of the passage but I know that conservatives probably won't be happy with my response (I don't think liberals would be too thrilled with it either :-). You can read it here.
