"Mom and Dad" as well as "husband and wife" have been banned from California schools under a bill signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who with his signature also ordered public schools to allow boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa, if they choose.

Trent Lott is such a ....

Oh. my. heck! This guy is worse than Bush! Why do these people want to shot themselves in the foot by taking on their supporters in this way? Who do they think their allies are going to be after this fight? Ted Kennedy? The NY Times? CNN? Do these people ever want to be elected again? You don't say this:

The Republican whip, Trent Lott of Mississippi, who supports the bill, said: “Talk radio is running America. We have to deal with that problem.”

At some point, Mr. Lott said, Senate Republican leaders may try to rein in “younger guys who are huffing and puffing against the bill.”

And expect the people to support you when this is all done. Trent Lott is dissing those who came to his defense after he was called a racist. He went on the Sean Hannity show and Sean supported him and has supported him since that episode. He even went on the Sean Hannity show to support his book. How dare he diss someone who has been so supportive.

Do you think they are deliberately trying to kill the Republican party? If I were a conspiracy nut, I would think that Ted Kennedy is actually the political genius that everyone thought Rove was (check out this picture and read this).
