Here. He makes some interesting points about bipartisanship but it's not really what I want to be hear right now. I want someone who'll fight for our principles not someone who will negotiate them away.
And it's not realistic in this political climate to work with the Democrats in true bipartisanship. Heck! The Republicans can't even get along, what makes Thompson think the new president would be able bring everyone together in a effort to do what's right for this country..
Sorry, we don't want a consensus builder for president. We want an advocate for conservative principles, someone who will further our agenda at the expense of the moderates and liberals.
