And the Blogging Caesar's final totals are up at Election Project and he has us losing both the House and the Senate (go read his disclaimer --I believe the polls have been garbage this year and it looks like he does as well). Now don't despair, go read the transcript from the Hugh Hewitt radio program, he talked to Rove for a half an hour and Rove is still confident that the Republicans will retain both.

I'm a nervous wreck so don't expect too much from me today. Don't forget to vote and if you planned to sit this one out to teach them a lesson, don't! We need to support the troops by voting to allow them to complete the job they started. Please, I beg of you, don't let the Democrats undo all that Bush has done (expect tax increases and impeachment hearings) and think about the fact that we may get another Sandra Day O'Connor on the bench if Reid is Majority Leader. You will only have yourself to blame.

We can't afford to send a message of defeat to our enemy. They will look at this as a white flag, that we want to pull out of the war before the its won. Because that is what the Democrats have said they will do and the enemy knows that and will think we no longer support this war. It will cause if more chaos over there.
