Professor Groves is now under hospice care and it doesn't look like he has long to live. His wife, Libbie asks for the following prayer:
Please pray for continued strength of body and heart as we wait, and savor the time, and care for Al. Thank you all for thinking of and praying for us.Please go to their blog and read her post about her reassurance to her husband that they are prepared from him to be with the Lord. It is a very moving witness to the power of faith in the promises of God.

And Alistair Begg has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and asks for prayer as well:
So I have joined the ranks of many for whom I have prayed and whose prayers I now covet. Every indication suggests that this cancer is non-aggressive, localized, and treatable. I will know more after meeting with the oncologist some ten days from now.(via)
