Clinton: "Take that, Iran"

I saw this last week and meant to post it here and forgot:

Clinton's comment this weekend was ridiculous:
Hillary Clinton vowed to pursue several specific goals if elected president, including universal health care, preschool for every child, and making college more affordable. She also pledged to promote energy independence and drew laughs from the crowd when she described replacing ordinary light bulbs with energy-efficient models and shutting off lights to conserve power.

"I turn off a light and say, 'Take that, Iran,' and "Take that, Venezuela.' We should not be sending our money to people who are not going to support our values," she said.
What ticks me off the most about this comment is that the only way we can do anything about our dependence on foreign oil is to conserve. Politicians like Senator Clinton have left this nation with no alternative since they refuse to allow the oil companies to drill anywhere there is oil. We are powerless because of her and she has the nerve to stand up there and tell us what she does to get back at Iran and Venezuela. Hey, babe! You can do a lot more, you could allow drilling in the Gulf of Mexico and in Anwar.
