Well, this may not have been all that it appears according to this site.
Bummer! I loved the story of the chick with moxie making her own way in the world, the independent spirit making her big break happen. Maybe she is or maybe she's not. Who knows what is the truth? But I don't want to slander her so I'm going to give here the benefit of the doubt. The truth will probably come out eventually. I guess we will find out in the coming months if she's a phenom or a publicity stunt. I'll keep you informed.
One thing that we should all keep in mind, I'm just commenting on what I see.
Updated to add: I changed the thrust of this story because I didn't want to slander the singer. I have no idea what is what, I just liked the story when I saw it but I also don't want to be used if this is a publicity stunt. See how far the media has fallen in my estimation? I wouldn’t put it past them to be duped by the record company PR department. Do I trust this website (that I know nothing about) or the mainstream media? Hmmm, this is a dilemma, isn’t it?
Updated to add: Make sure you read the comments, Adrian has some very useful information and links to an article that has more information about the singers traffic stats. Very interesting use of technology. I think the MSM should hire Adrian since he knows how to dig out a story, this skill seems to be lacking among some in the media.
