Here's a Christian spoof of the MAC vs PC commercial. I posted this over at Life Under the Sun and I've been thinking about it and reading people's comments about it and the more I think about it the more it strikes me as arrogant. It's a funny video and there are Christians who are more concerned about their theology than their witness so I'm sure it hits it's mark. But there are also Christians who are so laid back about their faith that they aren't engaging in expanding it by reading the works of those who have written thoughtfully about Christianity and the Bible.

There is a strong tendency towards anti-intellectualism in the church today and that is clearly reflected in this parody. Who needs books, why not just follow Christ? But you have to understand what the Bible says in order to understand God, to fully grasp the message of His word. He gave us teachers to help us and I don't think his gift should be mocked:
Ephesians 4:11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers
