Man! Everything is happening at once!

So, I just got back from seminary and all went well! Thanks for the prayers, it was much easier than I thought is would be (as I was driving to school this morning I was practicing how I was going to break the news to my husband that he would have to pay for me to take this class again next year). I even guessed at one of the questions, so that was great! I feel like a huge burden has been lifted off my shoulders. Which is good because it frees me to shoulder my new burden, next week's final. But there will be only English on that test (unlike today's test which had Hebrew on it) and surprisingly the Professor is allowing us to use an English Bible (usually they only let us use a Hebrew or Greek Bible).

For all you new readers, I'm in my 3rd year of seminary and I'm currently taking Old Testament Theology and History and Gospels. I had the OTHT test today and I have the Gospels test next Friday. I love this semester, it has been so much fun and I've learned so much from my professors. The professors at Westminster Theology Seminary are brilliant and you really learn a lot when you sit in their class. I have never had a bad teacher at Westminster. Next semester I have Acts and Paul with Professor Gaffin (he's one of my favorites), I picked up two of my books so that I can read them over the break. If you're interested, here's my reading list. It's not too bad, I've had worse (much worse, like 2,000 pages for Doctrine of Salvation II). But I will also be translating as well and that makes the class much harder.

Since I will be reading all next week for my final, that means I won't be posting as much which stinks because I can't post as often as I normally do. But I'm going to try to post a couple times a day so that you guys have something to read when you pop in from the Weblog Awards or from the lovely people who have linked to us (thanks, guys).

And between all this extra traffic and studying for finals, Blogger is tempting me to switch our blog over to the new format. Should I do it? I don't think I will (though I really want to switch so that we can have categories). I've been in computers long enough to know that you never, ever switch over to a new system (whatever kind it is) in the middle of this much upheaval. I think I'll wait until the dust settles and then switch.

OK, I have to see what's going on in the world and then maybe post again before I start reading again.
