Who knew we would be the enlightened ones?

Hey! Let's give it up for the commenters (including me!) who said that they would vote for a Mormon for president, we appear to be in the minority. Who knew that a group of Christians would be less bigoted than the general public:

61% said they think we're ready for a woman, 58% an african-american, 55 percent said we are ready for a Jewish President.

Only 29% think we are ready for a Mormon President. 66% say, not so fast. That is a huge gap. The only groups that scored lower were atheists and homosexuals.

Actually I'd vote for any of the above as long as they were pro-life, willing to take on the Islamic fascists and were willing to pack the court with those who are adverse to legislating from the bench.
